Logging Out
Database -> Logout & Exit

This will attempt to close your internet browser window. Most browsers will at this point pop up a message asking whether you really wish to close the window, to which you should answer yes.

The Logout menu option is included purely for clarity and commonality with other PC programs. In practice, closing your browser window by any other means will result in just as secure a logout.

No cookies are used or stored by PilotLog. If you are using a public PC, however, you may wish to delete temporary internet files before leaving. Most internet cafe-type machines do this automatically at the end of your session, but other public machines may not. If using Internet Explorer, click on the 'Tools -> Internet Options' menu then click 'Delete Files'. This will prevent anyone viewing locally stored copies of your log pages. Note that even if these pages remain on the machine, another user will be unable to edit your log book without logging in.
