Edit Simulator Detail
Database -> View Simulator Log
Click a detail to edit
This window works in a very similar way to the
Add Simulator Detail window.
When editing a detail, there are additional keyboard shortcuts available to save time entering data. Pressing F8 (the function key at the top of the keyboard) will copy data from the previous detail, saving retyping the same information over again when editing a sequence of details.
For example, after importing a roster, you may operate a number of details in the same simulator. Enter the Simulator Name and Type as normal in the first detail. While editing the second detail, with the cursor in the 'Simulator Name' box, instead of typing the name again, press F8. The name will be copied from the previous detail, and the Simulator Type set accordingly. This feature works for Detail Title, Simulator Name/Type, crew names and comments. Comments will be added to any existing text rather than replacing it.
Clicking on 'Delete Detail' will permanantly delete the detail from the database, after prompting for confirmation.
Clicking on 'Discard Changes' will close the 'Edit Simulator Detail' window. If you have made any changes, you will be asked to confirm this before your changes are lost.
Clicking on 'Save and Exit' will save the detail to the database, and close the 'Edit Simulator Detail' window.
If there are any errors in the entries, a warning message will pop up to advise. See
data entry for details of acceptable data formats.
