28-Day Rolling Chart

The 28-day chart shows the total flying hours for the 28 days up to and including each day in the chart. The totals include all flights except those marked as 'exclude' for flight time limitations. 'Other' flying is included, and all flights are counted at 100% regardless of any factoring setting.

Moving the mouse pointer over the chart will display the exact hours total for the date being pointed to, in the status bar at the bottom of the window (in this example, 01/08/2004 - 88:49 hours). If your browser does not support this feature, you can click on the chart to display a pop-up window with the exact hours.

By default, the bars in the chart are green, with a black marker at the start of each calendar month. If a total exceeds 90 hours, the bar is coloured yellow as a warning that the CAA 100-hour limit is being approached. If the 100-hour limit is exceeded, the bar is coloured red.
If any provisional flights are included in the total, the bars are coloured grey. Any provisional totals approaching or exceeding the 100-hour limit are coloured dark yellow or dark red respectively.

Options are provided to view statistics for any date range. By default, the end date for the chart is today, and the period set to 2 months. Any date can be entered, including dates in the future for checking future provisional flights.

The maximum range for a 28-day chart is 5 years, on account of the server processing effort required to calculate totals for each individual day in the range requested. Note that requests for large periods of data will take several seconds to compile and download (up to approximately 15 seconds, plus download time).

12-Month Rolling Chart

The 12-month chart shows the total flying hours for the 12 calendar months up to and including each month in the chart. The principles are exactly the same as for the 28-day chart, with warning levels set at the CAA limit of 900 hours (red) and 810 hours (yellow).

The black dividing lines in the 12-month chart are set on the end of the statistical year, as defined in the user preferences. Thus pointing to a black bar will show the total hours for the statistical year in question.

The maximum range for a 12-month chart is 20 years.
